Evelyn J. Hadden is an award-winning author of four garden books. She has spoken about lawn alternatives and ecological gardening at major symposia, conventions, club meetings, and other gardening events throughout the United States.

She writes and performs music, and hosts a blues radio show, under the name Ev Hadden.

She lives in Boise, Idaho.
