Evelyn Hadden founded the informational website LessLawn in 2001, and has written most of the content. The site offers articles and other resources on lawn alternatives and no-mow yards to help gardeners and homeowners design natural, soul-satisfying landscapes.




Evelyn Hadden joined the provocative and much-praised team blog GardenRant in 2013. She publishes a column twice monthly. Her recent pieces include "We Only Bond with Complex Landscapes" and "Look at My Big Rock".
